DJW Audio has released Lustre, a true-stereo algorithmic reverb for macOS in AU, VST3 and AAX formats.
Lustre offers seven algorithm families — Halls, Plates, Rooms, Chambers, Ambience, Non-Linear and Spaces — with ten presets in each family. Its 70 factory presets cover natural spaces, dense plates, short ambience, gated and reverse-like effects, and expansive tails.
Sixteen automatable faders are visible together, with controls for decay time, size, pre-delay, diffusion, density, modulation, low- and high-frequency decay, filtering and early reflections. The plugin uses an original algorithmic engine rather than loading captured impulse responses.
Lustre supports Intel and Apple Silicon Macs, VST3, AU and AAX. A fully featured 14-day trial is available, and a licence supports two machines.
Price: Currently £149, reduced from £199.
