Sojus Records has released a new version of the free software emulation of the Ensoniq SD-1 32-Voice, bringing one of the most distinctive digital synthesizers of the early 1990s into modern DAWs.
The project uses MAME-based cycle-accurate hardware level emulation rather than simply sampling the original instrument, recreating the SD-1 architecture, synthesis engine, effects, internal sequencer, MIDI implementation and even its internal workflow.
The plugin is completely free and open source. Important: original ROM files required.

- Full featured program/preset/bank and file manager. Export and import all compatible file types (VFX/VFX-SD/SD1-24/SD1-32 disk images (.img, .hfe, .dsk, .eda) and cartridges (.eeprom, .rom, .cart, .sc32): presets, programs, banks, sequences, tracks and combined sequences.
- FULL DAW automation (All keys, sliders and buttons.) DAW automation is visible on GUI and you can directly select buttons or sliders from the GUI to assign them to a controller.

- NEW: VST automation via panel. You can automate any slider or button with selecting it from the panel. (Yes, even with Ableton Live.) The automation is also visible on the panel.
