New desks from Output. New synths from Ableton and Roland. DJ tips for grrrls.

Fancy furniture. Output might be best known for instruments like Exhale and Analog Strings, but they have now branched out with a bespoke new studio desk designed to help you make music in the most comfortable way possible. Read more about it here.

Dream collab. Roland have linked with Studio Electronics for the first time to release the Boutique SE-02 analogue synthesiser. The partnership is Roland’s first production analogue synth for decades. Get the full low-down in the video above.

Purrfect. Max for Cats have brought out a new Ableton synth device. Pallas offers eight-voice polyphony and three versatile oscillators, all controlled by a semi-modular interface. Find out more here.

New Dimension. Respected music festival Dimensions is expanding its operation by starting a label. The first release is a three part compilation with tracks from Mike Dehnert, Byron the Aquarius, Lady Blacktronika, Obsolete Music Technology and more.
