Aurora DSP has released Sirax Mastering Suite, a modular mastering plugin for Windows, macOS and Linux. It brings nine dedicated processing stages into one interface for shaping mix cohesion, tone, dynamics, stereo imaging and final loudness.
The first seven stages can be reordered, while Limiter and PumpUp remain at the end of the signal chain.
Key Features
- Glue: Bus compression with transient smoothing, sidechain filtering and parallel blending.
- Smooth: Four-band control of aggressive or unstable energy.
- Dynamics: Macro and multiband processing with compression, limiting and adaptive behaviour.
- EQ: Ten editable bands with control over frequency, gain, Q, filter type and slope.
- Stereo: Width and stereoization controls by band, with correlation metering.
- Color: Selectable saturation models with low-frequency protection.
- Clipper: Selectable clipping curves, oversampling and clip-reduction history.
- Limiter: Selectable algorithms, ceiling control and true-peak safeguards.
- PumpUp: Perceived loudness and presence enhancement after the limiter.
Additional tools include Assist for an editable starting point and Reference Match for comparing a master against a chosen reference. Spectrum, waveform and input/output metering help monitor changes throughout the chain.
