Tritik has released Krush2, a new version of the multi-stage effect combining bit-depth reduction, sample-rate reduction, filtering, drive, modulation, and compression. It can be used for subtle texture and density, or pushed toward more aggressive lo-fi processing.
This new version has been rebuilt with updated internals, reworked parameter handling, and smoother parameter automation, along with a range of new features.
New in Krush2:
- Two stereo LFOs with adjustable left/right phase offset.
- LFO rates up to 20 Hz.
- Sawtooth LFO waveforms.
- Comb and band-pass filters.
- Filter position switch (pre/post).
- Improved drive with oversampling and character control.
- Downsampling jitter control.
- Bitcrushing dither control.
- One-knob compressor with Phat mode.
- Animated modulation feedback on controls.
Pricing & Availability
Krush2 is available on a pay-what-you-want basis, starting at 5 €, for macOS and Windows in VST3, AU and AAX plugin formats. KrushPro licences also unlock Krush2 automatically.
The original Krush remains free and available as a legacy download. Krush2 installs separately, so it won’t replace Krush in existing sessions or affect older projects.
