XeniAudio has released version 1.3.2 of the McPlugins suite (Mc, McMsc, MbMc, MbMcMsc) for Windows, Linux and macOS in VST3 and CLAP formats.
This release cycle (v1.3.0 → v1.3.2) brings a full hardware-calibrated DSP rework of every compressor type: each emulation has been profiled against real analog reference units and rebuilt around the captured signatures – transfer curves, attack/release, harmonic content and frequency response.
Vari-mu (Tube) now has progressive ratio with GR-modulated H2-dominant saturation, JFET (FET) gets program-dependent attack and locked hard knee, the auto-release glue (Bus) holds long on transients without pumping, opto (Optical) uses a true biphasic release, and a brand-new DBR mode adds a diode-bridge topology compressor type with transformer-style warmth and a +2 dB low-shelf below 200 Hz.
v1.3.2 is a Windows-side stability patch on top of v1.3.0, fixing two long-standing pain points:
- 2 s freeze on editor close in Reaper / Ableton / etc. Editor close now returns in well under 100 ms.
- Plugin scan hang on McMsc / MbMcMsc after a previous host crash.
