United Plugins has announced the release of Duoflux, a new dual-modulation plugin developed by SounDevice Digital.
Designed to handle tasks beyond the scope of single-processor plugins, Duoflux features two independent modulation units within a single interface. This architecture allows for the creation of complex movement and depth by processing signals separately or in various combinations.
Key Features:
- Dual Modulation Units: The plugin includes two independent units, each capable of running 17 different algorithms, including Vintage Chorus, Modern Rotary, Tremolo, and Phaser.
- Four Split Modes: Signals can be distributed to the two units based on a crossover set to Frequency, Volume, Stereo, or Mid/Side.
- Quiet/Loud Processing: A specific dynamic split allows users to apply different modulation settings to the quieter and louder parts of the audio signal independently.
- Tape Saturation: Each modulation unit features a dedicated Tape section with controls for Saturation, Wow, Flutter, and Noise to introduce vintage character.
- Advanced Control: Users have control over distinct parameters such as Rate, Depth, Width, and Character, along with LFO shapes ranging from sine to square.

Duoflux is compatible with most VST, AAX, and AU DAWs on macOS and Windows.
It is available now at an introductory price of €15 (Reg. €79) until the end of February. A 15-day unlimited trial version is available for download via the United Plugins website.
