Dropshot Audio updates Smackbox V2 to v1.1.0 with full Multi-Out support and Expanded Preset Library

Dropshot Audio has released version 1.1.0 of Smackbox V2, their hybrid drum synthesizer combining synthesis and sampling for electronic music production.

New in this version:

  • Multi-Output Support – Full 12 stereo outputs for routing each pad to separate mixer channels.
  • Preset Folder Organization – Factory presets now organized into categories for easier browsing.
  • Expanded Preset Library – 33 factory presets included, featuring community contributions from sinkmusic.
  • Linux Compatibility – Fixed compatibility issues with Debian 12 and similar distributions.
  • Improved Preset Management – Create folders directly when saving presets using “/” in the name.

Smackbox V2 is available for macOS (AU/VST3/CLAP/Standalone), Windows (VST3/CLAP/Standalone), and Linux (VST3/CLAP/Standalone).
