SMAOLAB releases YamaTube v2.0 (VST3, AU, CLAP, LV2)

SMAOLAB has updated the plugin version of YamaTube to version 2.0.

This new version is a major update, especially for the BAXANDALL EQ section. The algorithm has been corrected, and the overall sound should now be much closer to the character of the original hardware. The oversampling is also revisited making a cleaner sound.

Changes:

  • New BAXANDALL EQ algorithm:
    • The sound is now much closer to a real BAXANDALL EQ.
    • It add warmness to the sound.
  • New OVERSAMPLING algorithm.
  • New tube distortion models: 12AX7 and CLASS A, to produce saturation.
  • New user interface, with an improved look and a level meter added.
  • VST3 / AU / CLAP / LV2 plugin formats.
  • Compatible with Windows 10/11, macOS (Intel & Apple Silicon), and Linux.

A Demo version is available (fully functional, the audio output stops after 20 minutes).
