No Type No Tag Beats has updated Stuttermation, the timeline-based stutter, glitch, and time-manipulation multi-effect for Windows VST3, to v1.4.0.
Changes in v1.4.0:
- Added the Bands module with adjustable Low/Mid and Mid/High crossover frequencies and independent 12, 24, and 48 dB/oct slopes.
- Added Full and Split modes for compatible envelopes, providing independent Low, Mid, and High curves within each block.
- Added multiband support for Volume, Pitch, Pan, Width, Gate, Mid/Side, Drive, Fold, Asymmetry, Bit, Sample Rate, Bit Error, Noise, Frequency Shift, and Ring Mod envelopes.
- Added Spectral Rate mode, allowing independent Low, Mid, and High playback-density multipliers while preserving the master slice clock.
- Added fully independent three-band Source Morph, including separate Source B, marker, offset, morph, curve, and seed settings for each band.
- Added Source Markers. Up to 16 reusable timeline ranges can be captured and selected as Grab Targets or Source Morph sources.
- Added the pinned Block Capture module for rendering a block’s complete processed output to a 32-bit floating-point WAV, with Drag WAV, Save As, Reveal, Clear, and stale-capture feedback.
- Added Tape Env for per-block tape-style playback speed from 0.25x to 4x, with Reverse and Halftime support.
- Added Dispersion Env for phase dispersion, transient smearing, resonant motion, selectable frequency focus, width, stages, and character.
- Added Resonator Env with expanded chord structures, octave range, voice counts, decay settings, stereo spread, softness, and materials ranging from Pure, Wood, Nylon, and Felt to Glass, Bell, and Metal.
- Added Alternate playback mode for deterministic forward/reverse slice alternation.
- Expanded and reorganized Rate, Buffer Length, and Fixed Offset timing selections with additional musical values.
