MidiStickers expands Lessons & Exercises content in MidiStickers Pro v1.3 update

MidiStickers has released version 1.3 of its music education software, MidiStickers Pro.

The update introduces a new Lessons & Exercises hub with more than 30 textual lessons, a new Sight Reading Trainer based on Georges Dandelot’s method, as well as dozens of new exercises and UI improvements.

MidiStickers Pro is a desktop music education application for Windows and macOS that combines real-time MIDI visualization with interactive learning tools and exercises. It can display notation, chord symbols, Roman numerals, figured bass, harmonic functions as well as analyse MIDI files. Its learning content features lessons and exercises for music reading, scales, chords, progressions and other areas of musicianship.

Highlights of v1.3:

  • New Lessons & Exercises hub: 30+ structured lessons combining concise theoretical explanations with interactive exercises.
  • New Sight Reading Trainer: 60+ exercises for developing fluency in reading notes across the staff, inspired by Georges Dandelot’s classic method for the study of musical clefs.
  • Dozens of new exercises covering chord voicings, chord progressions, modes and scales.
  • Improved Auto-Accompaniment: new interface and built-in jazz standards and exercises for practice in all 12 keys.
  • Progression Trainer improvements: auto-accompaniment is now available for all progressions.
  • New Italian localization, bringing MIDIStickers to seven languages.
  • Workflow improvements: easier controls and other usability refinements.
  • MIDI settings are now saved between sessions.
  • Improved tutorials interface.

With v1.3, MIDIStickers expands its focus from individual trainers and visualization tools toward a more integrated learning environment, connecting theoretical explanations directly with practical exercises, another step forward in the longer-term goal of turning MIDIStickers into a complete interactive textbook and workbook for music theory and harmony.
