GSi has announced the release of Burn Studio, a Spin FV-1 emulator for macOS, Windows, and iOS (VST & AU) that lets users run SpinASM effect programs directly on their devices.
Burn Studio features a built-in SpinASM editor and compiler, with syntax highlighting, error checking, and binary export for programming real Spin FV-1 hardware. Burn Studio also includes presets featuring some of the original algorithms developed for the GSi BURN hardware effects unit, first released in 2013.
Burn Studio is free if used only as an effect processor plugin. A license is required to enable the advanced programming features (€25 +VAT if applicable).
