DAWJunkie has announced the release of VinylSynth, a new virtual instrument designed around the warm, dusty and imperfect character of sounds inspired by vinyl.
VinylSynth combines a collection of actual vinyl sound sources, delivering warm keys, hazy pads, lo-fi leads, plucks and atmospheric sounds. A built-in vinyl crackle layer adds instant age and character to the sounds.
The instrument also includes an integrated arpeggiator for creating rhythmic and evolving patterns, along with onboard effects and sound-shaping controls for taking presets from subtle vintage warmth to heavily processed lo-fi textures.
