Casa Occidente has updated RaiderPro to version 2.0.0, introducing several improvements to the plug-in’s automation workflow, with a focus on more reliable Write/Read behavior and better host integration.
The update includes:
- More reliable Write and Read automation modes.
- The selected Write/Read mode is now correctly restored after reopening the plug-in window.
- More consistent automation behavior during mixing sessions, even when the plug-in interface is closed.
- Improved communication with supported DAWs (tested on Reaper & Ableton Live) for a smoother automation workflow.
Casa Occidente notes that in Ableton Live, if recorded automation appears grey and playback does not follow it, users should click Re-enable Automation, as this is a DAW state rather than a plug-in issue.
The company has also published a new tutorial demonstrating how to use the updated automation workflow in Ableton Live. The guide covers writing Rider Fader automation, transferring it to Track Volume, removing the plug-in after the automation has been recorded, and reducing CPU usage while preserving all automation data.
