Arturia Releases AudioFuse Studio Rev2 – Optimized DiscretePRO Preamps and Upgraded Bluetooth

AudioFuse Studio Rev2, Arturia’s new 18-in / 20-out desktop USB-C audio interface, is aimed at project and hybrid studios that need one desktop box for mics, line sources, turntables, and digital expansion. The unit records and plays back at 24-bit resolution up to 192 kHz. It is a revision of the existing AudioFuse Studio form factor rather than a separate product line.

Rev2 keeps the Studio layout and concentrates the hardware changes on the four DiscretePro mic/line/instrument preamps and the Bluetooth receiver. Arturia rates those preamps at EIN of -129 dBu and 119 dB dynamic range, and states 78 dB of input gain on the product page. The company markets the DiscretePro path as optimized for lower THD; each unit ships with an individual DiscretePro performance certificate. Four analog inserts sit on channels 1–4 for outboard processing before conversion.

Analog I/O covers eight inputs: four mic/line/instrument DiscretePro channels plus four additional line inputs, with inputs 5–6 switchable to an integrated RIAA phono stage. Outputs include four line outs, two Aux/reamping outs, speaker A/B switching, and two independent headphone outs (1/4 and 3.5mm). Monitoring controls cover talkback, PFL, and mono/mute/dim. Digital expansion includes ADAT 8-channel I/O up to 96 kHz, S/PDIF or Word Clock, MIDI I/O, USB-C host connection, and an integrated 3-port USB 2 hub.

Arturia states the DiscretePro stages now offer more headroom and extended gain versus the prior Studio: maximum input level +18 dBu (was +11 dBu), gain up to 78 dB (was 71 dB), and boost up to +17 dB (was +10 dB). The Bluetooth receiver is upgraded for Rev2 and supports AAC, aptX, aptX HD, and aptX Low Latency. AudioFuse Control Center 2.5.0 is a free update for all AudioFuse devices and adds preset import/export, clock management, routing updates, and digital speaker monitoring. The bundle includes the AudioFuse Creative Suite (11 titles), with Comp DIODE-609 listed among the newly highlighted titles. The chassis is metal, approximately 73 x 265 x 160 mm, and weighs 1.6 kg.
