MeldaProduction Releases MDrumCleaner, MTurboFilter and v17.10 Update

MeldaProduction has announced the release of version 17.10 of its plugin suite. This update introduces MDrumCleaner, the “ultimate drum bleed treatment”, and marks the official release of the MTurboFilter plugin.

MDrumCleaner

Drum tracks are notoriously difficult to clean, but MDrumCleaner aims to solve the eternal issue of acoustic bleed once and for all. Built around five specialised algorithms—which can be used independently or combined into a unified workflow—it handles everything from subtle leakage to severe microphone cross-talk. Two of its processing engines are even light enough to run live.

The plugin features:

  • Cymbal Killer: Filters out hi-hat and cymbal spill, opening the high end only when the primary drum hits.
  • Side-chain Remover: Uses spectral analysis against an external feed (like a hi-hat track) to surgically delete bleed from your snare mic.
  • Spectrum Cleaner: Learns the unique acoustic fingerprint of your drum and strips away frequencies outside that profile.
  • Spectrum Gate: Automatically gates quieter background frequencies while preserving the louder drum hits.
  • Gate: An upgraded dynamic gate fine-tuned specifically for drum transients.

Introductory Offer & System Compatibility

To celebrate the release, MDrumCleaner is available at a special discounted introductory price for a limited time. As with all MeldaProduction plugins, it is fully compatible with Windows and macOS operating systems, supporting 64-bit VST, VST3, AU, and AAX formats across all major DAWs. You can also download a 15-day, fully functional trial version via MPluginManager to test it on your mix sessions right away.

MTurboFilter Formally Released

Following a successful beta phase, MTurboFilter is now officially complete. In this update, MeldaProduction expanded its capabilities by adding 6dB/octave low-pass and high-pass State Variable Filters (lp6fast and hp6fast). MeldaProduction also introduced collapsibility to the Easy Filters panel to help streamline your user interface and preserve valuable screen space.

Windows on ARM Support

MeldaProduction is officially expanding platform compatibility. Version 17.10 introduces native support for Windows on ARM architectures via Microsoft’s Prism emulator. Now, users running ARM-powered Windows machines can run Melda plugins smoothly within their modern production environments.

Other Notable Changes & Free Updates

This update also includes handy workflow improvements and bug fixes for MMatcher, MSoundFactory, MMultiAnalyzer, MXXX, MTurboComp, MDrummer, MLoudnessAnalyzer, MGuitarArchitect, and MSuperLooper.
