Noisebud Updates Pinky 2 to v2.53 – Static Spectral Mode and Dyn/Stat Blend

Noisebud has updated Pinky 2 to version 2.53, a major update that expands the adaptive spectral balancer with a new Static mode and the ability to blend static and dynamic spectral processing.

Pinky can now measure the incoming audio for as long as needed, build an averaged spectral curve, and use the result for static correction. The new Dyn/Stat control blends this processing with Pinky’s original dynamic spectral balancing, allowing it to operate dynamically, statically, or anywhere between the two.

Changes in Pinky 2.53 include:

  • New Static mode for fixed spectral correction.
  • Dyn/Stat control for blending dynamic and static processing.
  • Protect Low is now adjustable from 0 to 1500 Hz.
  • Protect High is now adjustable from 1.6 to 16 kHz.
  • Attack and Release controls for the dynamic processing.
  • Additional bug fixes and improvements in version 2.53.
