Overmono and [Project] Miracle release Diamond Cut – Bus Processor Plugin (AAX, AU & VST3)

Overmono and [Project] Miracle have released Diamond Cut, a bus processor for raw loudness in the mix.

The UK electronic duo Overmono and plug-in developer team [Project] Miracle have joined forces to break down Overmono’s signature workflow into a bus processor, designed to keep producers in the creative flow state while mixing. Named after their track Diamond Cut, the plug-in has been in development since 2023 and brings loudness and control to every bus in your session.

Overmono on their new tool:

Diamond Cut is based on what we wanted in a compressor/limiter. It preserves transients, smashes tails, glues and crunches the end of a chain in a way we can’t find anywhere else. It’s raw loudness in the mix.

Key Features

The plug-in features five processing modules:

  • The Limiter: This limiter features six different modes, going from very clean all the way to aggressive and bold sound characters.
  • Balance: Balance is a smart EQ system that morphs your spectral balance subtly towards a desired tonal character.
  • Soft Saturation: Soft saturation adds harmonic excitement to the signal without clipping it, making the signal more alive and intense.
  • Weight: Weight is a psychoacoustic bass enhancement system that adds bass without adding significantly more low-end to the signal.
  • Width: Width adds more side signal to your sound, making it feel truly massive.

Pricing & Availability

Diamond Cut is available now at projectmiracle.space for $109 / £89 / €99. A rent-to-own plan and a 14-day free trial are also available. Diamond Cut runs on Windows 10 or later and macOS 12.0 or later in VST3, AU, and AAX formats.
