This week’s top mixes include Mr Scruff live at Bestival, a seamless Juan MacLean dance session and a hyperactive iglooghost.

Mr Scruff Live at Bestival. A recording of Manchester producer, record collector and DJ Mr Scruff, performing a four-hour set of funk, soul and disco gems to a packed Staceys tent at Bestival. “The room was effectively a perfect Disco – a beautifully tuned soundsystem, plenty of mirror-balls and a ‘Soul Train’-esq decor.” Stream above.

Peggy Gou’s Truancy Volume. Berlin-based Peggy Gou’s Truancy Volume features tracks from Erykah Badu, golden age hip-hop and Rhythm and Sound dub, exploring the more downtempo and chillout side of her sound, which is usually “an assured, kinetic combination of dark, pulsing house and techno, broken beats and abstract compositions”. Stream above, download here.

Juan MacLean Seamless Dance Session. Via Warm, a mix from American producer Juan MacLean of DFA Records, whose new single ‘The Brighter The Light’ is out on November 3rd. MacLean skilfully interlaces a seamless selection of classic and modern house and melodic techno selections. Stream above, track listing here.

A hyperactive iglooghost. “This mix is made up of a lot of music I think sounds cool in my ears and brain,” explains Brainfeeder signee iglooghost, whose new i-DJ mix features his own tracks, as well as from Kai Whiston, Howie Lee and Sega Bodega. “I also chat to my assistant – Gü – at some point within the mix.
