Deadboy’s Techno Influences. UK dance imprint Aus’s latest Auscast features an hour-long techno set from electronic artist Deadboy, who explains that he wanted the mix to reflect what he’s been digging recently and some of the kinds of sounds that influenced his 2017 debut on Aus. Passionate activist and cutting-edge DJ SONJA, who founded and runs Labareda Records and is a member of the Fungo Collective, makes experimental electronic sound selections from across the spectrum, giving us a preview of what to expect from her appearance at Village Underground in Lisbon on November 17th. Sharp Veins’ Mad Mashups. Alabama-based grime and vaporwave producer, known for his records via Glacial Sound and UNO NYC, Sharp Veins puts together two hours for the latest Fact mix. Mashing together Young Marble Giants, Kyle Hall and Celine Dion, he selects “mind-altering pop, psychedelic ambience, lo-fi rock, outsider folk and wonky techno”. Stream and download above.

Sugai Ken’s Lullabies For Insomniacs. London and Berlin label Métron’s 50th mixtape welcomes Japanese artist Sugai Ken, who is celebrating his new LP release with RVNG. International. The mixtape is dedicated to the Amsterdam-based label who released his third full length, Lullabies For Insomniacs, with all experimental and ambient sounds taken from the label’s back catalogue.
