KarmaStation has released KarmaBass, a monophonic bass synthesizer for macOS and Windows.
Features:
- Two oscillators (sine, triangle, saw, square) with tune, detune and mix, and a sub oscillator one octave down that bypasses the filter and drive.
- The 24 dB/oct low-pass filter has its own envelope and responds to velocity.
- Legato notes glide without retriggering the attack, and the LFO syncs to the host from 4 bars to 1/32.
- 52 presets in nine categories.
When KarmaKick (free) is loaded in the same session, KarmaBass can duck under the kick without any routing in the DAW. Ratio, attack and release are adjustable, with a gain-reduction meter.
KarmaKick has been updated to version 1.1 to add this link. Its sound is unchanged.
