Jeesonic has released version 1.3 of EQ Pro, a free update to its 24-band dynamic equalizer for macOS and Windows.
A long click on a band handle now makes the band dynamic, the release adapts to the material, and Undo and Redo keep the last 50 edits.
Alongside the update, Jeesonic has introduced EQ Pro Studio, the enhanced edition of EQ Pro. It adds spectral bands, upward dynamics, adjustable slopes on bells and shelves, and a Flat band that works on the entire frequency range. With these, the plug-in also works as an upward and downward full-range compressor, an expander, a noise gate and a de-esser. Each of these tools can work on Mid, Side, Left or Right alone, or follow a sidechain to make room for another track in the mix.
EQ Pro Studio Features
- Spectral bands that follow a resonance from note to note.
- Flat band: gain stage, compressor, expander or noise gate on the entire frequency range.
- Upward compression.
- Adjustable slope for bells and shelves, up to 48 dB per octave.
- Auto dynamics with a single control.
- Static and dynamic in one band.
- Delta listen: hear exactly the difference a band makes.
- Curve zoom from 60 dB down to 3 dB.
