Apollo View updates DeltaScope and Scope to v1.2 – AAX, CLAP, Windows Support & More (50% off)

Apollo View has updated DeltaScope, an audio analyser and signal-comparison plugin, to v1.2.

Waveform inspection, spectrum analysis, metering and phase correlation share one window, with tools for comparing two signals in time, frequency and phase. Its Delta mode shows and lets you hear the difference between signals, so the effect of a processor can be examined on its own rather than inferred from the result.

Changes in v1.2:

  • Windows 10 or later, 64-bit, with one licence key covering Mac and Windows.
  • The AAX and CLAP formats. AAX brings DeltaScope to Pro Tools for the first time.
  • Multi FFT, which separates closely spaced bass frequencies more clearly while keeping the rest of the spectrum responsive.
  • Colour by Frequency, which colours the waveform and the spectrum curves according to their frequency content.
  • Image export, saving the current display as a high-resolution PNG.
  • Settings export and import, for moving a setup to another machine or sharing it.
  • Settings that open inside the plugin window.

DeltaScope supports macOS and Windows 10 or later, 64-bit. The Mac version is available as VST3, AU, AAX and CLAP; the Windows version as VST3, AAX and CLAP. The licence is activated locally, with no account and no dongle. A demo is available with every feature enabled and brief periodic interruptions until the plugin is activated.

Scope Updated

Scope, Apollo View’s free oscilloscope, was updated in the same release. The 1.2 release added the following to Scope:

  • Windows 10 or later, 64-bit, alongside the existing Mac version.
  • The AAX and CLAP formats.
  • Zoom, pan and Freeze, moved down from DeltaScope into the free plugin. The waveform can be held on screen while the audio keeps playing, then zoomed into a transient and panned along.
  • Colour by Frequency, which colours the trace according to its frequency content.
  • Image export and settings export and import.
  • Note units for the free-run timebase.
