Rast Sound has released Splitz for macOS and Windows, a plugin that splits an audio signal into parts and processes each part with its own factory effects or third-party VST3 and AU plugins.
The signal can be split by mid and side, frequency bands, level or transients. Typical uses include reverb on the tails only, saturation on the quieter parts and delay on the side signal.
