zplane Releases Tonic v2.0 with Upgrade Pricing and Introductory Discount

zplane has released Tonic 2, a significant update to its real-time key and scale detection plugin.

With an expanded chord workflow, overhauled keyboard and improved MIDI-in and MIDI-out capabilities, Tonic 2 makes it easier to move from identifying a track’s key and scale to writing melodies and chords that fit.

    • Color-coding now shows included, excluded, and played notes more clearly.

    • Chord buttons below the keyboard show all chords of the active scale.

  • New Keyboard and Fold Keys Functionality:
    • Shift octaves up and down.
    • Chords Narrow mode: inverts chord voicing for more musical results.
  • Improved and updated GUI:
    • Modernized interface design.
