ZAK Sound has released BA, a new virtual instrument for its Raizes Player. BA is a pad-focused instrument built from field recordings captured throughout Buenos Aires, Argentina.
The library offers a collection of 67 city-inspired instruments, 20 wavetables, and 104 presets. Its sounds range from atmospheric and ethereal to deep, dark, and urban — shaped by recordings made in plazas, streets, airports, shopping centers, and other locations throughout the city.
BA runs in the free Raizes Player (VST3/AU, macOS, Windows & Linux), and is available now for $39 / 35.9 EUR / 30 GBP.

Alongside the release of BA, ZAK Sound has also introduced the Chroma Textures Bundle, which includes BA as well as two other instruments:
- Auralis, featuring nature-inspired pads and evolving textures.
- Nebula Keys, a softly processed German upright piano.
The bundle also includes 100 exclusive hybrid presets that blend the sonic elements of all three instruments.
