sonicLAB has updated its stochastic real time audio processor CosmosFX to version 8. This version represents a massive overhaul of the audio engine.
New features and improvements :
- Resizeable application window.
- adding 5th and 7th order options for Ambisonic encoded output (up to 64channels) in realtime for spatial audio.
- Complete DSP engine overhaul.
- Revised OSC support.
- Full bi-directional plugin automation support.
Availability :
CosmosFX8 is avaiable in VST3 and AU formats for OS X (universal) and Windows systems. An M1 processor or equivalent / better is recommended.
This is a free update for existing CosmosFX7 users.
CosmosFX8 is priced now at £95 but will increase to £105 on June 2026. It can be purchased at sonicLAB webstore.
