SnowTec has released Pumpking, a tube saturator and fattener built around a Pump knob.
Pump raises a tube stage (a 6S45P triode model), a glue compressor, the low end (Fat) and a tilt (Color) together; at zero it does nothing. Oversampling up to 8x keeps aliasing down, Auto Gain holds the loudness and Ceiling keeps the peaks under a limit.
The face on the pumpkin changes with the Pump setting.
Pricing & Availability
Pumpking costs $29.90 and has a full 7-day trial that needs no key. It runs on macOS (Intel and Apple Silicon, 10.13 or newer) and Windows 10/11 in VST3 and AU formats.
