Sketch Audio has updated its effects plug-ins to version 2.0.
The update brings its previously Audio Unit–only effects to all major plug-in formats on macOS, Windows, and iPadOS (AAX, AUv2, AUv3, CLAP, and VST3).
The update also adds new features such as:
- Light mode.
- Auto Bypass.
- New LFO shapes.
- LFO phase offset.
- LFO swing.
- Repeatable Random Engine: This allows you to “lock” the plug-in’s random seed so its LFOs will produce a consistent timeline playback. Use it to deliver consistent mix results.
The Plug-ins:
- Doctor Vibe is a one-stop lo-fi shop with a Mix Slammer based on the OG 303 Vinyl Sim compressor.
- Fuzz Droid is a distortion plug-in based on the modular CP3 mixer. Its waveshaping function features a unique, sharp discontinuity for adding big harmonics to your sound.
- Galaxy Brain is a frequency shifter & delay combo ready to take any sound to outer space. Galaxy Brain can produce sounds ranging from thick, chorusy delays, to distorted laser SFX.
- Hyper Boost is a clipping plug-in with a twist. Hyper Boost comes with three clipping curves and a flexible two-band tone control. Use it early as a creative saturation effect, or late for precision mix adjustments.
- Scissor Hands is a dual filter in overdrive. Designed with synth nerds in mind, Scissor Hands offers four modulation sources for your filter cutoff, including spicy self FM.
The update is free for existing product owners. All products and bundles 25% off now through May 14 at sketchaudio.com
