Sample Fuel has released GuitarSynth-X for HALion and the free HALion Sonic.
GuitarSynth-X is a hybrid software instrument designed to blend the organic character of guitar samples with the flexibility and depth of synth-based sound design.
GuitarSynth-X features a focused 2 Sample Layer engine built for speed, efficiency, and creativity. With approximately 15 guitar-based sample sources and over 50 synth-based sample sources, users can blend organic textures with synthetic tones to craft expressive pads, rhythmic pulses, ambient landscapes, and aggressive hybrid sounds.
The interface emphasizes simplicity and minimal menu diving. Each of the two sample layers includes a pre-assigned LFO for immediate modulation control, while XY controls provide hands-on shaping of tone, balance, and movement.
The dynamic 2-slot serial FX chain, global EQ, and intelligent randomization features make it easy to sculpt polished sounds or quickly generate entirely new sonic ideas.
GuitarSynth-X works in Steinberg’s HALion platform and is powered by Sample Fuel’s Series X engine designed to be intuitive, responsive, and performance-friendly.
