Rockheyday has announced the release of Krum-B, a dual-band bass dynamics compressor VST3 plugin for Windows, designed specifically for bass guitars, synth bass, and 808s.
Krum-B splits the audio signal into a sub-bass layer and a high-band character layer, allowing producers to keep the low end tight and controlled while giving the top end bite and clarity.
Driven by a customizable crossover (60–400 Hz), the plugin combines an asymmetric High-Band Grit saturation engine for tube-style warmth with an adaptive Anti-Thump sub-release algorithm to prevent low-frequency popping and speaker thump.
Key Features:
- Dual-Band Processing: Independent compression with a customizable crossover split (60–400 Hz, default 150 Hz).
- High-Band Grit: 0–100% asymmetric tube saturation applied exclusively to the upper frequency band.
- Anti-Thump Protection: Adaptive sub-release algorithm to eliminate low-frequency pops and speaker thumps.
- Parallel Processing: 0–100% equal-power dry/wet mix control.
- Real-Time Visuals: Dual-layer FFT spectrum analyzer featuring a dynamic Crossover Guide Line.
- Preset System: Native XML-based saving and loading system.
