Quantovox has released Analog Stone, an AUv3 recreation of an iconic 1979 revision of a four-stage analog phaser. It brings the character and simplicity of the original pedal to iOS, powered by the same analog modeling engine as RealPhase.
Where RealPhase takes the rackmount approach with its 50+ parameters (which can be more than some users need), Analog Stone aims to do one thing well: delivering that iconic, sweeping, psychedelic color with the raw immediacy of physical hardware.
The plugin includes an add-on circuit that pays homage to the original V1 hardware version (released 5 years prior), reducing the harshness and non-musical artifacts when high modulation rates are used.
Analog Stone is available in the App Store for $5.99.
