Peter Semiletov has updated Drumlabooh, the free drum plugin for Windows and Linux, to v12.2.
New in this release:
- Fixed HP/LP filters behaviour.
- Fixed crash when loading unsupported SFZ kits (horizontal round-robin layers).
- Fixed drum kit name display.
- Tooltip now shows MIDI mapping + number of layers/samples per slot.
Two new kits:
- Sopromat: 600+ samples, classic kit layout (kick, snare, hats, etc.), ~90 variations per instrument. Punchy “analog” and electronic drums in the spirit of 90s samplers/synths.
- Avangard: 700+ samples, non‑standard synthetic/industrial sound. Good for breakbeat, big beat, trip‑hop, techno, goa/psytrance – but also works in rock.
Drumlabooh now includes ~30 kits total, from vintage drum machines to “live” kits (JazzKit, Sixties Basic, Sixties Rock). Sopromat and Avangard are a major expansion for electronic music producers.
