Noisebud releases 360Pro for phase-based stereo width and spatial shaping (VST3 & AU)

Noisebud has released 360Pro, a new phase-based stereo shaping plugin.

Similar to the free Noisebud plugin 360, 360Pro is designed to add width and space without using reverb, chorus, or other traditional stereo effects. The key difference is control: 360 applies phase rotation across the entire spectrum, while 360Pro lets you rotate phase freely at any point in the spectrum, allowing for much more precise and intentional stereo shaping.

One common approach in a mix context is using 360Pro to open up mono sources such as vocals, synths, or instruments that feel narrow or flat. By applying phase changes to only the left or right channel, stereo width can be shaped asymmetrically and with fine control, while remaining clean, focused, and mono-compatible when used correctly.

Another approach is subtle use in a mastering context. Small, carefully applied phase differences between left and right can introduce a sense of width, depth, and movement similar to what analog EQs often create naturally when their left and right channels are not perfectly matched. Used this way, 360Pro can add a gentle stereo shine and an analog-like spatial feel without obvious processing.

360Pro can also be used for traditional phase correction tasks, such as fixing phase problems in multi-miked instrument recordings, aligning elements, or reducing spatial conflicts, without touching EQ or dynamics.

Pricing & Availability

360 is completely free. 360Pro requires an active paid Noisebud Patreon subscription (from $6) or a one-time purchase ($30).
