Nembrini Audio has released the Bass 3500 Amplifier, a complete bass amplification and recording suite designed to deliver powerful low end, fast transient response, punch, and tonal flexibility.
Bass 3500 is modeled after the legendary Hartke HA3500 bass amplifier, capturing the distinctive character of its hybrid preamplifier design.
Users can independently blend the Tube and Solid State preamp stages, combining harmonic warmth and saturation with the clarity, definition, and immediate response of a solid-state circuit.
Key features:
- Hybrid Preamp: Independently blend the Tube and Solid State stages to combine warmth, harmonic character, clarity, definition, and punch.
- Built-In Compressor: Controls transient peaks, evens out dynamics, and adds weight and consistency to the bass signal. The activity LED provides visual feedback for compression and limiting.
- Ten-Band Graphic Equalizer: Provides ±15 dB of adjustment at 30 Hz, 64 Hz, 125 Hz, 250 Hz, 500 Hz, 1 kHz, 2 kHz, 3 kHz, 5 kHz, and 8 kHz.
- Contour Controls: Broad Low Pass and High Pass controls shape the low-frequency region around 100 Hz and the upper-frequency region around 10 kHz.
- Pre-Amplifier Stomp Effects: Includes a Noise Gate, Envelope Filter, Octaver, and Modern Tubes Drive. Each pedal can be dragged and reordered to customize the signal chain.
- Cabinet and Recording Chain: Includes four bass cabinet emulations, four microphone models, adjustable microphone positioning, tweeter controls, parallel D.I. processing, and three ambience environments.
- Dual Impulse Loader: Loads and blends up to two third-party impulse responses, with independent Level, Pan, Phase, Solo, and Mute controls.
- Six-Band Parametric Equalizer: Provides detailed post-amplifier tone shaping with multiple filter types and adjustable Frequency, Gain, and Q.
- Post-Amplifier Effects: Includes a Studio Compressor, bass-optimized Modulation, and Analog Delay. Each effect can be dragged to change the signal routing.
- Cabinet Bypass: Bypasses the complete cabinet, recording chain, and impulse-loader section for use with external cabinet processors, IR loaders, or a real power amplifier and bass speaker system.
