Moog Music, Inc. has announced the Bob Moog Tribute Edition (BMTE), a limited run of 500 synthesizers. For each unit sold, Moog Music is donating $500 to the Bob Moog Foundation.
The BMTE Minimoog Model D carries a 56-year legacy forward with a 100% analog synth powerhouse that employs the same updates as the 2022 reissue, with improved stability, full MIDI support, and a dedicated low-frequency oscillator (LFO). Moog Music describes the cabinetry as “quarter sawn white oak,” a beautifully textured light wood coveted for cabinetry. The BMTE is also unique as it features Bob’s silhouette from the Bob Moog Foundation logo alongside the Moog logo on the back.
