Minor Drama has released FreqBlender, a multiband wet/dry mix control that can be used to blend wet and dry signals in three independent frequency bands.
Designed for use with any processing chain, FreqBlender enables subtle yet powerful adjustments to dynamics & tone that can be difficult to achieve by other means, vastly extending what can be done with other processors alone. It especially shines in bus processing applications, where it enables easy, direct adjustment to the amount of processing (such as compression, distortion, or transient enhancement) both over the frequency spectrum and across the stereo image, with minimal dynamic phase shift, no latency, and low CPU impact.
Key Features
- Level Matching – Dry & wet signal levels can be level matched automatically or by ear.
- Zero Latency, Minimum Phase Shelving Filters – Phase shift is proportional to processing (dynamic phase response).
- Per Band Mid/Side Controls – Processing can be focused in the stereo field.
Pricing & Availability
FreqBlender is available for macOS and Windows in VST3, AU and AAX plugin formats for the introductory price of $29 until April 21st (Reg. $49). A free, fully-featured 30-day trial is available.
