MeterPlugs has announced the release of Loudness Penalty Studio 1.5, a free update to its standalone application for visualizing and previewing the effects of loudness normalization used by streaming services such as Apple Music, Spotify, and YouTube.
Version 1.5 introduces several workflow and analysis improvements, including a new Loudness Penalty report for summarizing loudness measurements and predicted streaming penalties. The update also adds new matching modes, Loudness Range (LRA) to the table view, and a short-term loudness graph in the block view. General performance improvements have been made to reduce loading and processing times, particularly when working with longer files.
Loudness Penalty Studio allows users to loudness-match albums and playlists, preview streaming normalization, and compare material against a library of reference tracks with loudness matching enabled.
Loudness Penalty Studio 1.5 is available for macOS and Windows. To mark the update, MeterPlugs is offering a 30% discount, applied automatically at checkout, for a limited time.
