Growl Audio has announced the availability of gFractor 1.2.2 Beta via their preview channel.
New:
- Optional piano keyboard under the spectrum, frequency-aligned with the plot (Display tab, off by default).
- Hovering the plot marks the key under the cursor and carries the crosshair down to it.
- Add and remove guidelines (up to 6) from the Guidelines preferences tab.
- Guideline slope is freely settable per line, from -12 to +12 dB/oct.
Changed:
- The spectrum crosshair now follows the cursor even with Show Tooltip off.
- Show Tooltip now only controls the intersection dots and the freq/dB/note readout.
- Guideline slopes are stored per line and persisted; existing setups keep their 0 / -3 / -4.5 / -6 dB/oct lines.
- Preferences: every tab groups its rows into framed cards; Display puts Layout and On-screen help side by side.
