Gooey has announced the release of Sizzle, a bandpass-limited saturation effect.
The technique was inspired by watching world-renowned producers load large plug-ins into their DAW to only use this feature.
Here’s how it works: first, the signal is filtered into a passband, then a saturated limiter is applied, and then the newly added frequency content is mixed back in with the signal.
Sizzle has an MSRP of $14.99, but is available now for the introductory price of $6.99 USD.
