FRCTL updates DLAY Multi-Tap Delay to v1.0.2

FRCTL has updated DLAY, their multi-tap delay plugin with an interactive graphical editor, to version 1.0.2.

New Features:

  • Glide: a new Settings panel switch controlling how tap times respond to delay-time changes (tempo changes, rate edits, tap dragging).
    • Off (default) crossfades tap times smoothly with no pitch artifacts, suited to tempo automation.
    • On engages a tape-style repitch glide as the delay time slides, for glitch and sound-design use.

Fixes:

  • Tempo sync now continues tracking the host BPM when the plugin window is closed. Previously tap times only followed tempo changes while the editor was open.
  • Custom tap timing is now preserved when changing the RATE. Adjusting the rate rescales the tap pattern proportionally rather than resetting it to an even grid.

DLAY supports up to 64 independent delay taps, with per-tap control of level, time, pan, pitch (±24 semitones), formant, filtering, saturation (6 modes), and reverse playback. It includes tempo sync, 7 character modes, modulation, ping-pong, ducking, 168 factory presets, and A/B compare.
