Carbonated Audio releases Pour – M/S Stereo Imager Plugin (VST3, AU, AAX)

Carbonated Audio has released Pour, a Mid/Side stereo imager plugin with a live polar vectorscope.

Pour is the fourth plugin from Carbonated Audio, shipping alongside Carbonator (saturation), De-Sipper (de-esser) and On Tap (sidechain ducker).

Pour’s control set is inspired by the SSL Fusion Stereo Image hardware and Alan Blumlein’s 1931 Stereo Shuffling, giving engineers a surgical way to widen the low end without collapsing mono compatibility.

Features:

  • Shuffle + Space — Blumlein bass stereo shuffling with a 40–400 Hz crossover.
  • Width — ±6 dB side gain for widening or narrowing the stereo field.
  • Rotation — ±45° M/S vector tilt (Waves S1 style).
  • Asymmetry — phantom center shift without affecting overall width.
  • Live polar vectorscope with persistence trail.
  • Solo Side — audition stereo-only content before mono fold-down.
  • M/S metering on input + output.
  • Pop-up preset browser (Bass, Vocal, Drum, Guitar).
  • A/B compare and 64-step Undo / Redo.
  • Zero latency, low CPU.

Pour is available in VST3, AU, and AAX plugin formats for macOS 10.13+ and Windows for $20. Three machine activations per license. 30-day money-back guarantee.
