Cableguys Update ShaperBox 3, Snapback, Kickstart 2, HalfTime, FilterShaper XL and MidiShaper

Cableguys have released ShaperBox v3.6.3, a quality update for their popular drawable multieffects suite.

PitchShaper’s Vocals and Drums modes now have more robust pitch tracking under rare edge cases.

TimeShaper’s Smooth Step Mode is now even smoother, with a reduction in extremely low-level resampling artefacts.

ShaperBox’s master bypass handling has been overhauled, with smoother crossfading between dry and wet signals, plus fixes for clicks and false audio triggers that could occasionally occur when disabling master bypass.

Rounding out the update, mouse handling issues have been addressed, and CPU spikes affecting Time, Pitch and Reverb Shapers have been resolved.

Alongside ShaperBox, Cableguys have updated five further plugins – Snapback (v1.1.2), Kickstart 2 (v2.0.9), HalfTime (v1.1.12), FilterShaper XL (v1.0.6) and MidiShaper (v1.6.3) – with many of the same stability and quality refinements.

Note that Kickstart 2, HalfTime, FilterShaper XL and MidiShaper now require a minimum of macOS 10.15. Users on older systems can continue using the previous versions via the Old Downloads section of their Cableguys account.
