Arvital Soft releases AudioRoute 0.2.0 with new Audio Effect plug-in variant

Arvital Soft has announced the release of version 0.2.0 of AudioRoute, now with an Audio Effect plug-in variant.

Changes since 0.1.13

0.2.0 — Dual plug-in surfaces:

  • New AudioRoute Capture FX variant (Audio Effect):
    • Insert on any audio, aux, or FX track.
    • Lands in Logic’s Audio FX menu, Cubase’s Tools sub-category, Live’s Audio Effects, REAPER’s standard FX list.
    • Recommended for new sessions.
  • Original AudioRoute Capture (Instrument) preserved exactly:
    • Same plug-in identifier as before, so existing sessions auto-load it.
    • No migration needed.
  • Pick the variant that matches your track type:
    • Effect on an audio track, Instrument on a MIDI / Software Instrument track.
    • Same daemon underneath, two surfaces.

0.1.16 — Tray UX & onboarding:

  • Reworked Welcome / onboarding flow: First-launch walkthrough now links to per-DAW guides; pop-up auto-opens for new installs.
  • Windows tray-icon intro step: Visual pulse over the actual tray icon during onboarding so new users see where AudioRoute lives.
  • Clickable license chip in the tray pop-up: Buy and Enter Key actions one click away; DAW guides link from the pop-up as well.

0.1.15 — Bit-perfect Windows capture:

  • Bit-perfect system audio capture on Windows: Capture at the device’s native sample rate with zero conversion, verified bit-identical via WASAPI process loopback (max |c – s| = 0 across 48 kHz / 96 kHz and a range of sources).

0.1.14 — Bug fix:

  • Auto-rate now follows the default output device: Previously, recordings could end up at the wrong sample rate when the system default changed mid-session.

New / updated guides since 0.1.13:

  • Bit-perfect capture on Mac and Windows, IR / DSP fingerprint capture on Windows, Cubase recording, ASIO compatibility on Windows (audio-route.com/guides).
