Arvital Audio has updated AudioRoute to v0.5.0, adding a recorder right inside the plugin so you can grab whatever your computer is playing and drop it onto a track with no routing or export step.
You now pick one of two modes per instance:
- Record: hit record, capture whatever is playing (a browser tab, a video call, a plugin demo, or hardware through your interface), and drag the waveform straight into any track, or click Save. No second track, no routing, no bounce.
- Live to track: the original AudioRoute workflow, unchanged. Stream captured audio live onto a DAW track and record it in sync with your session.
Also new: each mode has a “How to record this in [your DAW]” link that detects your host and opens a step-by-step guide, plus a “Keep my recordings” toggle with a one-click “Show Recordings folder.”
Both variants ship (instrument and effect): VST3, AU and AAX on macOS, VST3 on Windows. It is a free update for existing users, and the 14-day trial is unchanged.
