Arturia has released AstroLab 2.0, a firmware update for its stage keyboard range that adds instrument-specific sound editing from the front panel and more than 60 new sounds.
The new Sound Edit view organizes each instrument’s key parameters into dedicated pages. These include envelopes, filter and glide, with each page mapped to AstroLab’s four macro knobs. The controls let players adjust these parameters directly on the keyboard.

The expanded sound collection includes Pure Grand Clean, an acoustic grand piano sampled across eight velocity layers. Other additions cover funk and orchestral brass, pop strings, and upright and electric basses.
