Applied Computer Music Technologies releases ACM76SA FET Compressor for Windows and Linux

Applied Computer Music Technologies has released their ACM76SA FET compressor plug-in for Windows and Linux.

Inspired by one of the best known vintage FET compressor / limiters, the ACM76SA provides fast attack to tame the most troublesome dynamics, combined with harmonic drive from the transformer-coupled JFET VCA emulation, while the classic ‘All Buttons’ or ‘British’ mode offers an additional rich overdrive texture. In addition the plug-in provides a switchable side-chain high-pass filter to prevent over compression on bass heavy mixes.

Features

  • Smooth controls with no ‘zipper noise’ when adjusting the plug-in settings.
  • Program dependent attack and release, with fast attack.
  • JFET VCA emulation for colourful harmonic drive.
  • Transformer-coupled circuit emulation enhances the desirable vintage tone.
  • Innovative zero-delay feedback algorithm models analogue behaviour.
  • Classic ‘All Buttons’ mode for extra overdrive, colour and texture.
  • Physically modelled rotary control modes.

  • Resizable graphical user interface.

  • VST, VST3, AAX and CLAP plug-in.
  • Windows & Linux compatible.
