ABYZOR has released Variations v3.0, describing it as the biggest update since the plugin launched, introducing a redesigned HTML interface, new composition tools, improved workflow, and major performance optimizations.
Rather than simply generating random MIDI, ABYZOR Variations is designed as a Music Composition Workflow, helping producers generate ideas, develop motifs, create variations and build arrangements while preserving musical identity.
Version 3.0 introduces a completely redesigned HTML interface with five visual themes, UI scaling from 80% to 125%, and a refined piano roll designed for faster composition.
One of the biggest additions is the new Drum Pattern Generator, allowing users to create custom drum grooves using a built-in 16-step sequencer with custom samples and real-time preview.
The update also introduces Musical Cohesion, a new generation parameter that controls how much generated melodies develop previous musical ideas instead of creating completely unrelated phrases, producing more natural and memorable musical results.
Another major workflow improvement is Drag & Drop Audio Export. Users can now drag generated WAV audio directly into their DAW, alongside traditional MIDI export, making it easier to capture ideas without additional bouncing or recording.
Version 3.0 also expands generation capabilities with support for up to 32-bar compositions, six new musical genres (Dark Ambient, Rock, Folk, Latin, World and Meditation), MIDI Routing, performance improvements, and significantly lower CPU usage throughout the plugin.
