Noisebud Updates ToC Phase Correction Plugin to v1.11

Noisebud has updated ToC to v1.11, adding Precision processing, a phase-mode control and Mono Sub to its stereo phase-repair plugin for mixing and mastering.

ToC is designed to improve mono compatibility when bass, guitars or other stereo information becomes weak or disappears in the mono sum. It analyses the audio and uses three interacting repair processes to restore missing centre information and balance the stereo image, with an adjustable frequency range for targeting problem areas.

Changes in this update

  • Precision mode: adds high-resolution processing that remains linear phase throughout the phase-mode control’s range.
  • Phase-mode control: moves from linear phase through mixed phase to minimum phase in normal mode. In Precision mode, moving towards Minimum instead shifts a little pre-ringing to post-ringing to help preserve transients; mixed phase applies only in normal mode.
  • Mono Sub: uses linear-phase filtering to remove low-frequency Side information, centring the low end when the material benefits from it.

Pricing & Availability

ToC v1.11 is available now for Windows and macOS in VST3 and AU formats, priced at $42 USD. Access is also included with an active paid Noisebud Patreon membership, starting at $7 per month. A 30-day trial is available. Patreon payments also accrue as Noisebud Credits, which can cover part or all of the cost of a perpetual licence for ToC 1.x or other products available in the Noisebud store, allowing continued use without an active subscription.
