Audiofier has released Atmospheria and Moody Lights, two new Kontakt instruments in its Micron Series, each exploring a different approach to atmospheric and cinematic sound creation.
Priced at $29 each, Atmospheria concentrates on sonic environments and atmospheric depth, Moody Lights places greater emphasis on emotional contrast and the interaction between layered sounds.
Both instruments continue the Micron Series concept of focused Kontakt libraries built around specific sonic ideas, with straightforward controls and an emphasis on immediate musical use.
Atmospheria
Atmospheria focuses on evolving soundscapes, sustained tonal layers and atmospheric textures. Its sound palette ranges from delicate, airy tones and shimmering timbres to deeper drones and darker, more mysterious environments.
The instrument is designed for composers and producers working with cinematic underscores, ambient music, atmospheric electronic compositions and sound design, providing a selection of sounds that can serve as subtle backgrounds or more prominent elements within an arrangement.
Moody Lights
Moody Lights explores contrasting musical moods, combining luminous, delicate sounds with darker, introspective textures.
The instrument features four sound layers that can be blended in real time using an XY pad. This allows users to move between different tonal colours and create evolving combinations, from gentle and reflective passages to more subdued or tense atmospheres.
